On June 7, 2019 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the stamp N. N.  Alexandrov National Cancer Centre of Belarus. Life is worth fighting for of the series Achievements of Belarusian medicine.
 
Design: Yauheniya Biadonik. Print process: offset. Colour: multicoloured. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforations: comb 12. Stamp size: 40x28 mm. Sheet composition: 4 stamps & 1 coupon. Sheet size: 151x82 mm. The technology of thermal stamping by metalized foil of blue colour was used on the stamp and stamp margins. Print quantity: 40.000 stamps.

Printer: Republican Unitary Enterprise Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T.  Nepogodin.
 
Face value H is equal to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad.

The Republican Scientific and Practical Centre of Oncology and Medical Radiology named after N. N.  Alexandrov, known as N. N.  Alexandrov National Cancer Centre, is the leading oncological and the largest medical institution in Belarus.
It was founded in 1959 as the Research Institute of Oncology and Medical Radiology of the Ministry of Health of the BSSR.
It was one of the largest cancer centres in the former Soviet Union. In 1977 and 1978 it was recognized as the best institution among oncological institutes of the USSR.
It was the winner of the international award "European quality" (2009) and the prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus "For the spiritual revival" (2017).
It was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus (2008); it was recognized as the best healthcare organization in the republic (2017) and it received the award of the USA National Cancer Institute and the Global Health Centre (2018).

The stamp and the postmark are based on the logo of the Republican Scientific and Practical Centre of Oncology and Medical Radiology named after N. N.  Alexandrov, in cooperation with which the project was prepared.
 
Colour of the postmark — black.

Special postmark and FDC designed by Ya.Biadonik.
A special cancellation on FDC will be carried out at the post office No.1 of Minsk (shop Philately, 16 Moskovskaya street) on the stamp issuing day.
