Belarusian animated cartoons

On November 1, 2013 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue 8 stamps from the series Belarusian animated cartoons.
Designer: Yekaterina Priemko. Printing: offset. Colour: multicoloured. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: comb 131/2. Size of the stamps: 52x29,6 mm. Face value of each stamp: N. Stamps were printed in a sheetlet. Sheetlet composition: 8 (2x4) stamps. Size of the sheetlet: 137x158 mm. Print quantity: 20.000 sheetlets.
 
The stamps were printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T.  Nepogodin.

The National Film Studio "Belarusfilm" is one of the leading studios in Eastern Europe with a complete production cycle. Its history dates back to 1924.
"Belarusfilm" regularly participates in many international film festivals. At the 53rd International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Zlín (Czechia, 2013) the film "Pilipka" by Tatyana Kublitskaya was awarded the highest prize of the festival "Golden Slipper" in the category "The Best Animated Cartoon". Elena Petkevichs film "Snow White and Rose Red" won the Prize for Master at the 16th International Animated Film Festival "Animaevka 2013" (Mogilev).
 
There is the emblem of the National Film Studio "Belarusfilm" on the stamps.
 
 
Colour of the postmark — black.
 
Special postmark and FDC designed by Ye. Priemko.
A special cancellation on FDC will be carried out at the Main Post Office of Minsk on the stamps issuing day.
