Historical reference: The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) is a group of states considering themselves not aligned formally with or against major power blocks. The organization was founded in Belgrade in 1961 by 25 states of Asia, Africa and Latin America.
In 2011 the Non-Aligned Movement is marking its 50th anniversary. Belarus is among the states most actively involved in the formulation of foreign policy priorities of the Movement.

A special cancellation on FDC will be carried out at the Main Post Office of Minsk on the stamp issuing day.
