15th Anniversary of TIBO

On April 4, 2008 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the stamp 15 anniversary of TIBO preparedby the Publishing Centre "Marka" of the EUR "Belpochta".

Designer: Yevgeniy Simonenko. Printing: offset. Colour: full colour. Paper: chalk-surfaced. Perforation: comb 13¾: 13½. Size of the stamp: 26х37 mm.

The stamps were printed in small 3/4 1/2 sheets.

Historical reference: International specialized Exhibition and Congress on telecommunications, information and bank technologies (TIBO) is held at the initiative of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus beginning from 1994. Traditionally the following organizations take part in the TIBO Exhibition and Congress: the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus and other state government bodies, leading scientific-research and educational institutions and specialized business associations. The TIBO International forum is considered to be a yearly national review of world and home achievements in the field of telecommunications, communications, software, bank technologies, office equipment and consumer electronics. There are elements of protection on the stamp.

Face value H is equal to the tariff for sending a letter up to 20 g of weight by surface to Russia, Lithuania and Turkmenistan.
