A field meeting of Ministry of Communication and Informatization Board on the topic “Postal services development in current conditions” was held in Brest. News date: 01/07/2011
A project “Postal services Program of Republic of Belarus for years 2011-2015” was considered and confirmed.
In this program is considered that social-oriented model of activity of the national operator in future will be provided by regulatory and market principals combination of which should connect interests and payment ability of users with postal services abilities upon clients’ needs satisfaction and social policy of the government.
The main task of the program is step-by-step commercialization of the national operator activity, transition to market principals of services providing, namely commercial sale of services.
Refusal from state subsidies (compensation) is provided in the program. This method will promote further social direction of enterprise services and commercialization, market services broadening, quality increasing, effectiveness of postal services economics.
